Paul Simon, who memorably performed "The Boxer" to open the first Saturday Night Live episode after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, was also featured today at New York City's 9/11 Memorial ceremony.

Watch the singer's acoustic version of "The Sound of Silence" now.

Said Mayor Michael Bloomberg at the event:

"Although we can never un-see what happened here, we can also see that children who lost their parents have grown into young adults, grandchildren have been born and good works and public service have taken root to honor those we loved and lost."

Not only did these terrorists hijack 4 planes, but they also hijacked a peaceful, tolerant and beautiful religion.
I will never forgive these heartless criminals for using my fine religion to commit their bloody murders.
May they burn in hell.
My thoughts go to all the people who lost their loved ones
