Roseanne Barr Bashes Political Parties, Declares: I'm Running for President!
Move over, Kelsey Grammer. You aren't the only celebrity with an eye on The White House.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show yesterday, Roseanne Barr announced that she's running for President of the United States in 2012.
“I’m totally serious,” Barr said, citing Sarah Palin as proof that pretty much anyone can run. "I want to be part of the debates because I want to represent the tax payer. In fact, I’m choosing the tax payers as my vice president.”
Under which banner does Roseanne fall? Neither, she says: “I’m not for either party because they both suck and they’re both a bunch of criminals. So I made up my own party. It’s the Green Tea Party.”
Like a certain egomaniac who teased a Presidential run this spring in order to make headlines, Roseanne has a reality show to push. Lifetime cameras follow her around on a Hawaiian nut farm for Rosanne’s Nuts.

I love Roseanne and would love work on her campaign. I am live in Houston, Texas have two daughters and two grandchildren right now I have grandchild that has no insurance coverage because his mother makes $20.00 over the cap. I know Roseanne would address issues like this and really speak to the the hard working tax payers. Stay in it to win it Roseanne

I am an educated professional from a VERY tea-party conservative family (ugh). I would LOVE to vote for Rosanne!! Oh my, I can only imagine the dinner table discussions teeheehee

compared to all the criminals we have running our country now she wud be great. The sad fact is this country is starting to fall and instead of fixing it we have ppl hell bend on destroying it. Politicians take so much corporate money when they win they our bound by these intities to push laws that only benefit them. Sadly the american ppl dnt have millions of dollars to get things passed for them so maybe a regular person like her cud actually do something for us.

Absolutely! Would love to have her as President. She knows and genuinely cares about what's going on in this country. I wasn't a big fan until I heard her interviews and listened to her thoughts and opinions. Before you dismiss her, listen to what she has to say.

Sure! At this point I agree with her and a good part of the voiting public i'm sure, They all stink! I would register for the Green Tea Party, Our moto could be take the "green" out of corporate welfare and "Tea" up the top 2% to their choosen tax shelter location!

I;m sorry to see that this untalented shrew is back on TV. Totally sick of people that 'tell it like it is' which, in her case, is another way of saying mean-spirited and crude. She has nothing to offer us either politically or entertainment oriented. Wish she'd just go away.
