Julie Pacino, the 21-year old daughter of one of the planet’s most iconic actors, was arrested for DWI early Saturday morning in New York.
The incident took place around 1:30 a.m. after Julie drove her Mercedes through a checkpoint on Houston Street in Manhattan.
“She had bloodshot, watery eyes, slurred speech and the strong smell of alcohol on her breath,” officer James Duffy wrote in the police report. “She admitted to drinking three beers and smoking marijuana prior to entering the checkpoint.”
Al Pacino flew to NYC from Los Angeles immediately upon hearing this news, as his daughter – a softball standout at UCLA – was was arraigned on Saturday evening and released on her own recognizance.
