Tiger Woods and Steve Williams: It's Over!
On the same day we confirmed Elin Nordegren and Jamie Dingman are an official item, Tiger Woods and his longtime companion have parted ways.
Dude fired caddy Steve Williams after 13 years!
The high-profile celebrity breakup was announced via Tiger's website, which says, "I want to express my deepest gratitude to Stevie for all his help, but I think it's time for a change ... I wish [Steve] great success in the future."
No word if Tiger was cheating with another caddy or 20.
Stevie says he's shocked by the move, especially because he stuck by Woods' side throughout the stunning cheating scandal of 2009-10.
"After 13 years of loyal service needless to say this came as a shock," he says.
"Given the circumstances of the past 18 months working through Tiger's scandal, a new coach and with it a major swing change... I'm very disappointed to end our very successful partnership at this time."
Stevie went on 60 Minutes last year to say he never knew anything about the golf legend's affair with Rachel Uchitel or other assorted VIP hostesses.

I was fired by my employer after 18 years of 'loyal' service. I was upset but decided to move on with my life. I'm happily employed now by a company that does not pay quite as much but gives its employees much better benefits. I don't understand why Steve is so pissed off considering that he made over 5 million dollars while caddying for Tiger. Like other caddies, Steve has been fired before by high-profile golfers; why is he so incensed this time? Steve now works for a very talented young golfer in Adam Scot and I think Steve should stop being a cry baby and help his new boss as much as he can.

Williams appearing on 60 Minutes was the reason for the firing regardless of what either of them say. Remember Tiger's first caddie was Mike "Fluff" Cowan. Fluff gained fame carrying Tiger's clubs and parlayed it into a hotel commercial. He was fired shortly thereafter. Fluff now caddies for Jim Furyk.
Tiger is the quintessential narcissist. It's all about him and woe be to anyone in his entourage who "steps out of line."

Wow. What a classy way to get the shaft.
And I for one second do not believe he had no knowledge of Tigers infidelities. Those two were inseperable.
