The name Chris Brown evokes both admiration and intense scrutiny.

In the magazine, Brown opens up about his return to the top of the charts, what it is like being Chris Brown the superstar and his progression as an artist.

Brown, who’s been collaborating with Justin Bieber on their “Next 2 U” music video, says that the toughest part of his transition is being … who he is.

“The hardest thing about Chris Brown is understanding you’re “Chris Brown,” he says. “I just noticed the value of my brand, and who I am as a person now.”

Not entirely clear on what he means, but sounds positive!
