Beyonce Debuts Music Video for "Run the World (Girls)"
Beyonce served as the mentor on last night's American Idol performance show, offering advice to Scotty, Haley and Lauren. And, of course, giving her career a boost in the process.
The singer premiered the official music video for "Run the World (Girls)," an empowering single off her upcoming album, "4." It features Beyonce and a few dancing pals in a deserted African nation, shaking it for a group of men.
"I found a lot of inspiration in '90s R&B; Earth, Wind & Fire; DeBarge; Lionel Richie; Teena Marie," Beyonce said of the album. "I listened to a lot of Jackson 5 and New Edition, but also Adele, Florence + the Machine, and Prince. Add in my hip-hop influences, and you can hear how broad it is. I also gave myself more freedom to really belt out some songs, and bring soul singing back."

I always find it odd that these women are wearing stripper outfits and prancing around like strippers in music videos.. Even stranger that they do that and talk about women ruling the world.
"Rule the world with your stripper outfits and crotch shots"
odd
