Bristol Palin is a Dancing With the Stars Finalist; Brandy Eliminated in Stunner!
WTF. There's no other intro we can muster right now.
It's not anything new that Dancing With the Stars is more about popular support than technical merit, especially with mediocre, middle of the pack performers. But at some point, you'd assume the better dancers would be rewarded.
You'd assume wrong, apparently. Bristol Palin will be joining Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey in next week's finals, with a deserving Brandy on the sidelines.
Somehow, Brandy and Maks will be watching, not dancing in the finals.
No sooner had we talked about how Palin's run personally irked Maksim Chmerkovskiy than he and Brandy got the boot Tuesday, despite great dancing Monday.
A record-high number of votes made it happen, too.
"One thing that I love, for my family, the choice they made to come to this country," said Ukrainian-born Maks, taking the high road, "the fact that people vote and voices count. I love that this show represents that, the people's choice."
"I don't regret a second of the last five years of my being on the show and definitely not a second of me being on this season. It's been an amazing journey."
Uhhnh, did Maks just pseudo-quit Dancing With the Stars?
Apparently millions of voters felt she totally deserved it, but one person on stage didn't look stunned, including Bristol herself and partner Mark Ballas.
Imagine if she actually wins this thing next week.
Can anyone derail the Bristol Palin express?
We know she works her butt off, and there's nothing objectionable about her on a fundamental level. But she can't dance. It's time for this to end.
All we have to say is that Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey voters? You better be on your robo-texting game, because the Palin movement is no joke.
Call it a conspiracy, call it pure enthusiasm for the teen mom next door. Whatever you want to label her, she's one of the final three this season.

I think the real WTF is how Kyle Massey is in the finals. I always thought the top 3 would be Jennifer Grey, Brandy, and Bristol. Kyle should have been gone long before Kurt and Rick.
My theory on why Brandy got the boot was because of her little boo hoo story about how she was persecuted for the fatal car accident. She sounded like she only felt sorry for herself, not the victim's family at all!!
And, if Bristol or Kyle win over Jennifer Grey, it's because Grey comes across as a New Age Hollywood D-list douchebag.

Even if the show is disavowing this as a incident of little presence, then what is all the back lash about. And .the bottom line is Ms. Grey got this one in the bag, locked sold. And if she dosn't DWTS is over. No one will watch. I knew this crap was going to happen that's why this year I did not watch. Florence Leachman ran circles around Bristal Palins Fat But.

Since the show authors no that Bristol Palins votes may come through a computerized sytem without authentication, they should pay with people turning off to this last show. Who ever casted Bristol from the beginning knew what they where doing. This is a a inside job. When does a drop-out babys momma with no singing talent or dancing talent, get to be a instant star. And for all the mothers who send there daughter to colleges and univerities to graduate, this is a slap in the face. This is about ethics and this show has violated ethics of it's viewers and made every viewer a A##.

The writer above is so absurd. They act as if the viewers are supposed to be professional judges when someone stays that the writer doesn't like. In audience voting it is very common for upsets to occur. If the article writer liked Bristol they would be talking about how great it was that the underdog pulled it off. Go Bristol. This is DWTS. Not a professional contest. Enjoy the show.

Also they said that Bristol does not "deserve" this??? Oh yea? Well others opinion seem to differ on how hard she worked to get there and so she deserves what she earns.
So brandy does not "deserve" to lose to the likes of Bristol because that is what happened. brandy lost.
More viewers will see that all who people think "deserve" to win do not always win.
Sometimes those who work hard and have a bigger mountain to climb get the rewards they deserve.
For those of you who think everything is so obvious and that there was a conspiracy need to take a less complex view.
The right people are in and the others are out.
All of a sudden the one you want loses and you cry foul and voter fraud. Relax and enjoy the entertainment.

It amazes me when others make comments about someone they don't know. Bristle may have lost weight and she does work up a sweat. I think Bristle has done an outstanding job, did not give up, and is lovely young women. No one other then the judges and the public gave her this last win. We all know that Jennifer, Lacey and Brandy are great dancerse but the vote is what gives the dancers the win.
I wish them all the best from a long time fan.

Oh, come on. How can some of you be so naive to believe that Bristol deserves this. It was planned from the very beginning. I only hop the show investigates and takes on a new system next time. They will loose viewers over this and DWTS is already on the defensive.

Most guest dancers lose weight working up a sweat because they work hard with very good dance steps while Bristol looks even chubbier because she barely works up a sweat with her robotic dancing.
Could be the Democrats are doing a lot of the voting so that the public will get ticked off at the Reps and some voters won't vote for them!! Bristol is an embarrassment to DWTS because the ones who deserve to stay are voted out. The system needs to change but ABC is all for this hoopala for the ratings and could care less who wins such as the Osmonds another example who should have been voted out earlier.

I'll add that I'm glad that Bristol has had this opportunity to earn a substantial amount of money for herself and her son. I would wish the same for any young single parent. Although Bristol got on the show only because of her Mother's 'status', and although her parents are far from poor, it's good for Bristol to have her own independent nest-egg for the future. Although I find her a very likeable person with a great attitude, I still feel that based upon pure dancing ability, charisma, and entertainment factor, she should have left 3 or 4 weeks ago. That's nothing personal against Bristol! Of the three finalists, Jennifer is tops for dancing skills, and Kyle is tops for charisma and pure entertainment.
