Different Views: Bill O'Reilly Clashes with Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar Over 9/11 Mosque

As soon as the topic turned to the proposed mosque around the site of 9/11, Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar got into it with the Fox News anchor. He argued that 70% of the country was against the Muslim center and that it was "inappropriate," albeit clearly constitutional, to erect.
They argued that people should be smart/tolerant enough to differentiate between a religion and the extremists within that religion. At least that's what we think both sides said, as voices were raised and opinions flew until Goldberg and Behar actually stormed off the set...
Said Barbara Walters of the incident: "We should be able to have discussions without washing our hands and screaming and walking off stage. I love my colleagues, but that should not have happened."

Bill O'reilly said it correctly --No Mosque to be built there. The Muslims would not allow any other religion to be part of their building .Apparently a radical Cleric has been involved with the planning of the building. Where is the money coming from? Perhaps the Mayor is getting a backhander|||A big insult to the 911 victims. Why would the politicians ever entertain the idea, America will suffer big time if the authorities allow the Mosque to be built close to ground 0. Maureen Gerrard.

They are paid to be on that set, walking off was very immature. Whether you agree with your guest or not you are a paid professional and should act like it.
Hitler and his cronies were Christians. Does that mean Christians performed the Holocaust? No. It is the same categorical issue here. Muslims did not kill those victims on 911, individuals did. Bill O'Reilly is wrong and the outrage is understandable.
While it may be constitutional, it is definitely inappropriate. How can it even be suggested? While I agree that we should be tolerant, try tell those who lost loved ones to be tolerant and forgiving. It's easier saying than doing.
