Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan Dies at 28
Jimmy Sullivan, drummer for the band Avenged Sevenfold, has passed away.
He was only 28. Reports indicate that it appears as if the drummer and occasional vocalist died of natural causes, although his death is being investigated.
The band, Avenged Sevenfold, was founded in 1999. The group broke out years later and won Best New Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2006.
Sullivan, a.k.a. James Owen Sullivan, a.k.a. "The Rev" or "The Reverend Tholomew Plague," was one of the co-founders of the hard rock ensemble.

It's always sad to see those who are so young pass away. We are still mourning the loss of Brittany Murphy and many other stars in what will be remembered as a year in which we lost so many people at too young an age. R.I.P. Jimmy.

Have been to many A7x concerts and have been a fan for years. Last concert I was at was Tast of chaos '08 and jimmy was amazing on the drums every single time. Its still a shock that he is gone RIP rev
