The pop star, who celebrated her 28th birthday Wednesday, is posing for the cover of the January issue of Elle with the two most important men in her life.
Two short years ago, that would've been Adnan Ghalib and Sam Lutfi. Now, things are back the way they're supposed to be. Britney Spears is back on top.

As usual, Britney Spears toes the line between glamorous, sweet and sexy.
In one photo, she peeks out from under the covers of a fluffy bed, as if she were an ordinary mother of two toddlers, enjoying a leisurely Saturday at home.
In another, she props herself on the kitchen as one of her kiddos plays in a mess of cupcakes and frosting. What's not to love about this cute single mom?
But there's also her sexy - and fashionable - side. The Elle spread will give us the full essence of the singer with its Britney Spears pictures, to be sure.
In her real life, things are going swimmingly for the singer, who recently wrapped the Australian leg of her Circus tour and is so in love with Jason Trawick.
After spending her 28th birthday with her favorite boys, Spears even got an extra special B-day gift: A Grammy nomination for best dance recording.

I apologize if I come across as negative but from an artistic point of view, I must say the photo spread of Britany in the January 2010 issue of Elle magazine has to be one of the worst photo spreads I have seen. Of course this really has nothing to do with Britany but with the photo editor of the magazine. The inside photo beginning the article is essentially the same one on the cover and then the next photo was essentially the same but with a different angle on her face. (the description of the blue coat was even identical). Did they not shoot enough photos for some variety? And then to have the exact same pose (peeking out behind the sheet as she was peeking from behind her coat?!?) Where is the originality!?!?! I also thought it was inappropriate for her to have this "Come hither" sort of peek-a-boo stare with her son in the bed. Maybe I'm being overly critical but I thought they were trying to portray her as this great mom and making a comeback but I think the photos Elle maga
