Lindsay Lohan may be a walking obituary, and a slow-moving train wreck that is hemorrhaging jobs almost as fast as pounds. But she says she's just a target.
Responding to the fashion critics who panned her debut collection for the French designer, Emanuel Ungaro, she says “I knew people were going to target me.”
“I am a target. I don’t know why, but I am, and I accept that. I just don’t pay attention to it," the singer designer actress party girl tells the Sunday Times.
She takes the same approach to being dropped by her record label.
“Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I didn’t expect everyone to be completely loving the collection. It is the same with everything I have done.”
Except it's not. It's much worse than that.
Like a five-car accident stopping traffic on the side of I-5, one simply can't look away from the awfulness that is Lindsay Lohan, a wreck unraveling before our very eyes.
Combined with her hard-partying lifestyle, it's starting to take a tol, too. Audience members noted tears in her eyes as she walked the Paris runway October 4.
“It was such a surreal experience and I think I was emotional probably for the entire week, but when we walked out, it was a good feeling,” Lindsay Lohan said.
So what’s next for the 23-year-old wreck?
“I feel I am on the cusp of something new. I just need to be here.” However, she admits in the end, “I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t like to think ahead.”
To a degree, you have to live for the moment. We respect that. We just hope that the poor thing has more than a few more tomorrows to look forward to.
Someone please save her!
