Sometimes, you simulate your bloody death at the end of your performance at the MTV Music Video Awards. These things happen when you're Lady Gaga.
As if her ridiculous outfits didn't generate enough publicity, the superstar singer is receiving feedback from her live version of "Paparazzi" on Sunday night.
A lot of the reactions aren't good, either.
Fans were a little freaked out by the rumored hermaphrodite simulating her murder at the hands of the paparazzi on stage. So were her former teachers.
Nuns apparently aren't a fan of this ...
Faculty members of the Convent of the Sacred Heart girls school in New York, where a little Italian girl named Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta matriculated for several years, are mortified, according to the New York Post.
Heck, even average viewers might have thrown up at the sight of it.
The paper reports that "When someone showed the nuns a video of her bloody performance at the VMA Awards, the good sisters were not amused."
Not entirely shocking, as it was pretty over the top, even for a young woman who walks around in no pants like it's her job. Which it kind of is!

I think Lady GaGa is fabulous. She is so original and freaky. I like her freaky! She is an amazing performer and puts her guts into the show. Literally, lol!
I also think she looked a lot like Bette Midler at the VMAS! She often does when she is all dressed up.

LADY GAGA IS AWESOME ! being is weird ISN'T bad ! it means she is UNIQUE instead of wearing everything that is similar to everyone else ! Lady Gaga is original and she has her own sense of style instead of copying someone else . Her performance on the VMA was fantastic ! it amazed me . her voice is even BETTER in real life unlike those other stars who only sing good in music videos and when you actually hear them in real life they stink . so there :)

LMAO haha of course freaking nun's would be shocked and offended they'd be shocked and offended at a Britney Spears Madonna or Christina concert.
Gaga's performance rocked it was story and she told it well. It was over the top and wild because well she's a rock star and she rocked it! It's MTV people remember Thriller???? Um zombies vamps blood and guts zombie's eating people. That is what MADE Mtv HUGE and POPular.
People that are offended by Gaga shouldn't even be watching t.v. or even the internet by that matter.
You know what offends me everyday? Male enlargement commercials lasting for several minutes 100's of times a day being forced to hear about men's "SIZE" and "STAMINA" and I'm a guy and it sickens me I'm always like STFU!!!!

I don’t know what ppls problems are but she is a 100% real artist. What she sings is what happens when "The Fame" takes over your lives. If you listen to each song and read the lyrics, compare it to a celebrity that fits the discription of the song. And you will see that "Fame" does eat away at you. I took the performance as a metaphor of how in our celebrity obsessed culture, where we constantly watch/judge celebs every move as if we WANT blood. Bread and circuses is it not? We want, want, want! So she gives us her ALL causing her heart to burst open. As she bleeds all over the stage as rises above it all, it makes us question when is enough, enough?
Thats the way I interpret it. She is a singer and a writer and a musician as well as fashionable, theatrical, and dramatic. That is what real ART is. Art is a beautiful thing that sometimes it cannot be described it can only be felt. She is the new wave of the future. And who cares what she wears, over in japan they wear crazier stuff but you know what thats normal because its culture. Hell i like it and i will wear it too. But you know what there is no such thing as normal, we are all imperfect, we are born and we die thats absolute, that cannot be changed. People do what makes you happy, if you like it go for it. Your time of life is ticking away faster than you know it. Make your life matter. :) Thats what Lady GaGa is doing and I love it.
