Ed Swiderski openly talked about having a girlfriend while he was trying to woo The Bachelorette star Jillian Harris, former contestant Wes Hayden says.
"Dave [Good] and I remember Ed saying he had a girlfriend," says Wes, who also was accused of dating (Laurel Kagay) while on the show, to Us Weekly.
"But we are not the kind who are going to run our mouths."
Finalist Reid Rosenthal says some contestants thought from the start that Ed Swiderski, 30, was bad news and "didn't care to hang out with him."
Adds Michael Stagliano, "There was definitely some point where I did think, I'm not going to be best friends with this guy. Ed's a shady character."
The Bachelorette contestants are required to relinquish their cellphones and laptops on the show to keep interaction lively among the participants.
But due to his as a Microsoft consultant, Ed Swiderski "had an agreement" to keep both "because it was imperative for him to have access for work."
This agreement is now coming back to bite the Chicagoan.
HOW HE TRICKED HER: Rather easily, it appears. Poor Jilly Bean.
Adds Jesse Kovacs of his competitor at the time, "Obviously, no one knew he was saying, 'I'm not into [Jillian Harris] and I can't wait to go home.'"
While Ed did some work, he also kept in touch with Lindsey Johnson, whom he was dating at the time, and told he was only going on the show for fun.
He even texted that Harris "wasn't his type," and that he was "not in any way attracted to the chick." Just what every newly-engaged girl wants to hear.
On April 12, three days before he told Jillian Harris he had to leave The Bachelorette to focus on his career, Swiderski emailed Johnson to say "I love you" and declared that he was going to "molest" Lindsey when he got home. Romantic.
Then, after getting engaged to Jillian on the season finale, he banged her again eight days later, according to the scorned Ed Swiderski play thing.
Another woman, Bethany Steffen, says Ed was stringing her along while he was dating Lindsey (and Jillian) and tried to get her in the sack a few days later.
Man, people are really piling it on Ed these past few weeks. Sure, maybe they are all liars, but you don't hear anyone backing Ed up, do you?

These "dating" reality shows are a total joke. First of all, any person that would go on national t.v. to get a date like this, in my opinion, doesn't get much of my respect. Why these shows are taken so seriously, as far as this type of gossip is beyond me.

How DUMB to agree to marry someone you met on a dating show. If you aren't on the show strictly to enhance your career, then you must have strudel in your noodle - the other contestants surely aren't on that show to date you (duh).
