Earlier this week, our site was one of the first to report that Carrie Prejean - the reigning Miss USA runner-up and hater of gay couples around the world - underwent breast enhancement surgery. Lewis, who we even referred to as a "very nice man," proceeded to call our office and deny accountability for spreading this rumor.
That was then. Now, he's gone on The Early Show and confirmed that the Miss California Pageant actually paid for Prejean's boob job.
Carrie Prejean has a beautiful, partially fake, bikini body. Does the Bible say anything about boob jobs?
"We assisted when Carrie came to us and voiced the interest in having the procedure done," Lewis told co-anchor Maggie Rodriguez this morning."We want to put her in the best possible confidence in order to present herself in the best possible light on a national stage."
The man that flip flops more than John Kerry added:
"It's not something we endorse, nor is it something that we suggest. But when we meet with the titleholder when she's crowned Miss California, we put to her a litany of questions about how she feels about herself, what she feels she needs to work on, what she may need to change, what is good, what is not good."
Lewis also said that Prejean - who came in second to Kristen Dalton - had a better chance of winning by being "more proportioned" during the swimsuit competition.
She also had a better chance of winning if Perez Hilton was less of a self-serving jackass and/or Prejean didn't believe that one's religious beliefs should be applied to state law.

Didn't another beauty queen spread intolerance and discrimination? Ah yeah, it was Anita Bryant who ended up divorced and shunned by her fellow fundies. Back then there was a real STIGMA to divorce (and the bible condemns it). Anita ended up filing for bankruptcy in both Arkansas and Tennessee. A sad old woman who should have kept her mouth shut when she was young and beautiful. Instead, she spoke the "truth" in her heart. Good luck silicone Carrie.

World Swimwear has some cute swimsuits.. and about Carrie, she is not a political figure. She should be able to say what she feels. If you can not handle the answer, then do not ask the question. I think gay people should be able to marry, but it should be recognized as a Union Contract, instead of calling it Marriage to please these religious freaks. Live and let live.

Ha Ha Ha , are all reporters, writers gay? This is like exploitation of a non-gay person by deliberately destroying her reputation. Is the gay community so Vindictive that they cannot even take a point of view which does not agree with them. Makes me wonder why we have been tolerating gay rights for so long. They should be treated as they treat us straight folks.

How biased to call her a "hater of gay couples." Being against gay marriage is not the same as hating gays! She happens to believe, as do I, that God defined marriage as between a man and a woman. We are not at liberty to change what God defined. I don't hate gays though and I'm sure Miss Prejean does not either.
I thought we had freedom of speech in this country. I think it is certain elements in the gay community who are doing the hating.
