In a new development, Britney Spears has ended her battle to win custody of her children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, from Kevin Federline.
K-Fed's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan says both he and Britney Spears reached and signed off on a settlement in their custody case last night.
Kaplan tells OK! Magazine, the leader in accurate celebrity news:
"At about 8 p.m., a final settlement in the Kevin Federline / Britney Spears custody case was signed. All parties have agreed to the following: Kevin will retain sole legal and physical custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James. Britney will continue to have visitation rights which may increase over time. The agreement will be presented to the court in the morning for approval by the commissioner."

Well, that settles that. Kaplan added that "Kevin is ecstatic and the boys are thriving." That means not getting dropped on the sidewalk.
Britney, who remains under the legal conservatorship of her father, Jamie Spears, lost custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James last October.
At the time, she had visitation rights, but they were severely restricted after January meltdowns, hospitalizations and psychiatric evaluations.
She has monitored visitation with Sean and Jayden once a week and one overnight. Recently, Lynne Spears joined her for one of those.

Everyone keeps getting Britney's visitation wrong. She has the boys THREE days per week, with TWO overnight viists per week. Team Britney knows what they are doing. This can and will be modified in the future!!! Kevin is estatic because he knows he can sit on his butt and live off of Briney's money, while being thought of as a "good" dad. I respect K-Fed, he is supporting
britney in time of need and holds the family together for the kids sake. Hopefully they will reconcile in the near future. They struck me as a stong-bonded family.

Of course K-Fed is slime, duh? He used Britney to fund his financial obligations to his previous kid with Shar Jackson.
By the way, I saw Shar with a short hair cut on a sitcom a few weeks ago. She looks fantastic with short hair...and she still has custody of her own kids! Britney could take a few pointers from Shar, don't you think?
