Mike Huckabee is a staunch supporter of Josh Duggar.

Caitlyn Jenner, however?

Let’s just say the woman formerly known as Bruce Jenner should not be making any dinner reservations for herself and the 2016 Presidential candidate.

In the wake of Caitlyn Jenner revealing herself in Vanity Fair, comments Huckabee made this year at the 2015 National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Nashville have gone viral.

According to Huckabee, the nation is "under threat" because one’s seven-year-old daughter can now "go into the restroom [and] cannot be offended and you can’t be offended if she’s greeted there by a 42-year-old man who feels more like a woman than he does a man."

Huckabee then mocked anyone who sees him or herself as transgender by joking as follows:

"I wish that someone told me that when I was in high school that I could have felt like a woman when it came time to take showers…

"I’m pretty sure that I would have found my feminine side and said, ‘Coach, I think I’d rather shower with the girls today.’"

"You’re laughing because it sounds so ridiculous, doesn’t it?"

Yes, Mr. Huckabee. That definitely sounds so ridiculous. But we aren’t laughing.
