Let's at least give Elisabeth Hasselbeck some credit: unlike former coworker, Rosie O'Donnell, this host of The View didn't refer to 9/11 as a conspiracy.
But the conservative blonde is singing a conspiratorial tuner over David Hernandez being voted off American Idol last night.
What must Kristy Lee Cook do to get eliminated from American Idol?
No offense to the lovely singer. We'd never wish an elimination on anyone. But her butchering of a Beatles classic seemed to make her the front-runner to be voted off the show last night. Instead, David Hernandez said goodbye.
David Hernandez and Jason Castro have established themselves as fierce, talented competitors on the seventh season of American Idol.
But they're also opponents in what may be an even more intense battle: The Hollywood Gossip Topless Tussle!
David Hernandez doesn't wanna discuss his stripper past. And we don't blame him.
As the American Idol finalist told Entertainment Weekly, he's just here to sing. Viewers can decide if that makes him worthy to remain on the show. So far, they've responded positively.

The manager of a male strip club in Phoenix says the 24-year-old performed in the buff at the establishment for three years, ending in September 2007.
American Idol fans have been surprised so far at the talent of David Hernandez. This season seven semifinalist didn't receive much air time prior to the final 24 being announced, but he's proven to be a smooth vocalist.
Viewers will likely also be surprised by the following rumor: Hernandez used to work at a gay bar called Dick's Cabaret.
None of them achieved the sort of response from the judges - and teenage girls in attendance - that David Archuleta did last night.
But the following American Idol men should at least feel safe booking a song for next week's semifinal show:
We didn't include him among our top five performances from last night's American Idol auditions in Hollywood, but David Hernandez deserves a shout-out.
He hasn't received the same sort of screen time as contestants such as Michael Johns and Carly Smithson, but Hernandez may now be considered a dark horse following this rendition of "Love the One You're With."
