We have a new mom in the mix, thanks to the addition of Jade Cline (whoever that is) to the cast.
And of course, the Carolina Hurricane herself Jenelle Evans is no longer with us, saints be praised.
But believe it or not, that’s just the beginning of the shake-ups coming our way this season.

RIP to a Real One
As many fans have pointed out, there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of drama in this trailer, but that’s largely due to the absence of Jenelle Evans.
Good Riddance
Maybe she’ll be missed by fans who only tune in to the show for insane conflicts and endangered children, but we’ll take a slightly slower season over a storyline in which Jenelle helps David bury the dog he murdered any day.

As for Jenelle’s former co-stars who still have jobs, it seems they’re making the most of their continued employment
Nothing’s Perfect
Sure, she had hoped to be moving in with the love of her life — but hey, all in due time!
Leah In Love?
Speaking of the search for Mr. Right, it looks like Leah Messer may have found new love in an old place.
Mrs. Calvert?
Yes, the rumors about Leah reconciling with Jeremy Calvert have been circulating for months, and this trailer is sure to add some fuel to that fire.

Some fans will likely complain about how little we see of Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer in this trailer, but to be fair, domestic bliss doesn’t always make for compelling TV.

We’re sure that’s fine with Chelsea. After all, she still gets paid the same.
Just Friends
Getting back to the rumors – Kail and Leah love to vacation together, so they must be in love, right? Sadly, that’s what a surprisingly large segment of fans believe.
Blissful Bri
Speaking of happiness, it looks like Briana DeJesus is head over heels for Johnny Rodriguez, so you may not see much of her this season, either. Sorry, Bri!
And Then There Was Jade
Fortunately, producers decided to inject a little chaos into the proceedings with the addition of new cast member Jade Cline.
A Serious Note
Of course, it’s not all cast feuds and relationship drama. It looks like the show will once again get serious as it deals with Leah Messer and her family’s sad situation.
The A-Team
Daughter Adalynn is coping with a number of health issues, and the process of fighting her illness has taken a tremendous toll on both Leah and her other daughters.
The Ex-Files
It looks like there will be some drama in Bri’s storyline, too, as her baby daddy Devoin goes off the rails and starts hitting the bottle hard. Never a dull moment in the DeJesus household.
As For Jade
Jade Cline is no Jenelle Evans when it comes to ratings – we’re going to guess MTV will find that out in about 10 minutes. But it won’t be for lack of trying … it seems some major drama between Jade and her then-boyfriend Sean Austin was also caught on camera.
Austin Power
Fortunately, the troubled couple has since parted ways, but that doesn’t mean the drama won’t resurface at some point in the near future. These feuds rarely stay dormant.
Jaded
