How did you spend your Labor Day Weekend?
Some vacationed. Some worked. Some binged television. Nicole Nafziger hung out with her adorable daughter, May.
But the longtime 90 Day Fiance star also did something else.
Nicole has seen weeks worth of rumors claiming that she has ditched Azan, as some fans have begged her to do for months or even years.
She found a gentle way to affirm to fans that yes, she and Azan are still together.
In fact, they’ve now been “together” for nearly four years.
Nicole shared a FaceTime screenshot
She keeps some things about her private chats with Azan private — obviously. But Nicole also had a sweet message to share with her followers.
She gushes about how much she enjoys talking to him
“I love nights like this,” Nicole writes in the caption of the snapshot she shared with fans.
They’re nearing a major anniversary
“Soon it will be four years,” she points out. “And it’s crazy how much we’ve been through.”
She mentions the many rumors
“Ups and downs, rumors, tears, fights, love, connection, faith, Love,” Nicole lists.
But they have endured
“We’ve been through it all,” Nicole emphasizes. She is so good at seeing the positive in what others might call a hopeless situation.
They’ve only grown closer
“All the time we are getting stronger as a couple,” she affirms. “And understanding more of each other.”
She knows it’s been a long time to be long-distance
“Our Journey is longer then others but that doesn’t make it less true to each other,” Nicole writes.
She has such an optimistic perspective!
Instead, Nicole says, it “Just means we get stronger along the way.”
She looks forward to the future
“One day,” Nicole predicts. “We’ll never have to leave each other’s side and it will be amazing.”
She’s prepared to wait
“Until then,” Nicole vows in conclusion. “I’ll continue to support you as you support me. I love you.”
Still, some fans have concerns
Nicole’s post was filled with replies telling her to “wake up” or demanding that she break up with Azan. Some were downright insulting towards her, while others took on a more compassionate tone.
Even Nicole’s family has its concerns
Forget the conspiracy theories that Azan is using Nicole for money — some people who really love Nicole fear that even if he truly 100% loves her, if things haven’t worked out for them after nearly four years, she needs to move on to someone who will make the effort to be there for her and for May.
But remember, May is Nicole’s first priority
It might not always seem that way to fans, but Nicole is a devoted mom who loves her precious little girl. May also started school last month, which is incredibly exciting. We’re glad that they both enjoyed their Labor Day weekend. Maybe next year, Nicole will enjoy it with Azan?
