If you’ve been a longtime Teen Mom fan, then you’re probably very familiar with the issues between Kailyn Lowry and Briana DeJesus.
And you probably remember just how bad things got between them.
At this point, all of their drama is getting kind of old — it’s been about two years since it all began.
But, as Kailyn revealed in the latest episode of her podcast, there’s still plenty of bad blood between these two ladies …

It doesn’t feel like it’s been two years since the feud between Kailyn and Briana began, does it?
Then Again …
But there’s just SO much drama in the Teen Mom universe, and we see a lot of it play out in real life before we see it on the show, and sometimes we see things on the show that we really didn’t know about when it was actually happening … so time just moves different for these people, OK?
Looking Back
Anyway, it was about two years ago that Briana and her family went on a Disney World vacation with Javi Marroquin and little Lincoln, the son he shares with Kailyn. He was kind of secretive about the whole thing, and Kailyn really sincerely did not appreciate it.
Mad at Everyone
After that, Kail officially started hating Briana, and her relationship with Javi turned sour, too. They got into a pretty heated argument while filming a Teen Mom 2 reunion special because Kailyn thought she’d been disrespected, it was this whole thing — you remember.
Weird
Their feud has actually lasted way, way longer than Javi and Briana’s actual relationship did — they only dated for a few months, but the pettiness has lived on.
Ridiculous
It kind of makes sense when you think about the fact that there was a time when Javi was juggling both ladies at the same time, as well as a relationship with current fiancee Lauren Comeau
A Missed Opportunity
I mean, it would have been nice if they would have formed a friendship to take down Javi, who is clearly the real bad guy in this whole thing, but that’s obviously not what happened.
So Sad
Kailyn and Briana actually did the opposite — they cemented their status as archenemies at the filming of the next Teen Mom 2 reunion when they nearly got into a physical altercation.
What a Time
A fight almost broke out twice — once when they met privately and Briana tried to start something, but Kailyn walked away, and another time onstage while they were filming when Kailyn was ready to throw down.
Dang, Brittany
There was a bit of violence that time — Briana walked away while Kailyn followed her, and before security guards could stop it, Briana’s sister, Brittany, snuck up behind Kail and pulled her hair.
Seriously
But even if they didn’t get into an all-out brawl, it was still ridiculous. Guards stormed the stage, furniture was knocked over, Briana showed her underwear at one point. It wasn’t great.
Makes Sense
Since then, the entire cast hasn’t been able to come together for the reunion — and according to Kail’s latest podcast, that won’t happen anytime soon.
It’s That Time Again
At the end of this month, everyone will head up to New York to film this season’s reunion, but, as Kail insists, they’ll all do it separately.

“They have asked me if I will sit on the couch with everybody and I did say no,†she explained. “It doesn’t have anything to do with Briana or the drama, or Jenelle, or any of that. It’s more so for personal reasons. I really just don’t want to go back to that space.â€Â
Huh?
Well, of course it doesn’t have anything to do with Jenelle — she’s no longer on the show, so why would she be at the reunion?

And we have a pretty hard time believing that her choice to avoid the rest of the cast has nothing to do with Briana.

“I feel like there was drama in the past and, based on that, I don’t trust the producers and I don’t trust some of the cast members,†she said.
HMMM …
Which cast members though?
Not Chelsea
“It’s nothing against Chelsea,” Kailyn continued. “I know a ton of people have written in and asked if me and Chelsea are still friends. We’re still friends; there’s no bad blood.”
Not Jade
“Jade and I are fine,” she added.
Not Leah
She didn’t say anything specifically about Leah, but since the two have been so close lately, it’s pretty clear that she wouldn’t have the slightest issue in appearing onstage with her.
OK, Girl
“People just read into it,” she complained, but like … it’s obvious what she’s saying here.
Oh Honey
Especially when she follows all that up by saying “I had to say I won’t sit on the couch with anyone but Chelsea and Leah. It’s just not worth it to me.â€Â
Fine
The issue, she tried to explain, is that she’s in a different place in life now. She has her haircare line, her podcast, and “I have things I want to do and I just do not want to put myself in a position where I would maybe act out of character again for somebody who is not affecting my day-to-day life.”
What’s Really Going On
She complained about people reading into all of this, but it’s not like there’s anything anyone could gather from all of this besides “Kailyn still has an issue with Briana,” right?
Not a Secret
She essentially said that she was concerned that if she was in the same space with Briana, talking about things, she might do something she regrets, and because she’s branching out in her reality star career, she doesn’t want to risk doing something that would make her look bad.
Honestly
Like, we understand what words mean, Kailyn, come on now.
Again?
She also said that “I’ve been asked to have Briana on the podcast. One of the producers had suggested maybe having her on the podcast.”
Shut Down
“But, again, I just don’t think it fits well with what we’re trying to do,” she argued.
Maybe Later
Her podcast co-host jumped into add that “Maybe there’s a time and a place for that at a later date. But now, it doesn’t work.â€Â
All Right Then
So there we go — Kailyn still has some issues with Briana about everything that went down, and the issues are so significant that she doesn’t trust herself to share a stage with her. Interesting, right? And also unfortunate, because let’s be real, Javi is simply not worth all this.
