Well, another Duggar wedding is almost upon us.
We know, we know -- it feels like these things happen so often it should be news when there are no Duggars planning to get hitched.
But this time, there's a pleasant change of pace, as it'll be two full-blown grownups tying the knot.
John David Duggar and Abbie Burnett got engaged back in July, and though they proceeded through all of the usual steps of the courtship process, these two are not your typical Duggar couple.
For one, when John and Abbie say "I do," they'll be about a decade older than the typical Duggar couple.
On top of that, John David and Abbie seem much less concerned with tradition than his siblings.
Will this result in a wedding that looks and feels radically different from the usual Duggar ceremony we all know so well?

The Happy Couple
In some ways, John David and Abbie are the typical Duggar couple. But in other respects, they're blazing their own trail.
Taking Their Time
At 28 and 26, respectively, John David and Abbie are the oldest Duggar couple to tie the knot in recent years. Typically, Jim Bob and Michelle's offspring are encouraged to get hitched while still in their teens.
Perhaps it's for that reason that the couple hasn't been as strictly bound by the infamous Duggar "courtship rules" as previous couples.
Rebels (By Duggar Standards)
Sources say John David and Abbie have been going on unchaperoned dates and -- gasp! -- even skipping church together!
Going Their Own Way
Okay, so it's not like they're engaging in premarital sex, but these two are clearly not your typical Duggar couple
Even John David and Abbie's newly-released wedding invitation demonstrates the ways in which the couple has decided to break with tradition. It seems they've even decided to be less secretive about the date than JD's siblings ...
Mark Your Calendar!
According to this image obtained by the Duggar News: Life's Not All Pickles and Hairspray Facebook page, John and Abbie will be tying the knot on November 3.
Typically, the Duggars do everything they can to keep such information secret. They've even gone so far as to change the date for fear that word had gotten out.
The More Things Change...
Of course, John David and Abbie are still loyal to the family business, which means they're making certain concessions in the wedding planning process.
For example, John David and Abbie are getting married in November, which is the month in which Duggar weddings are traditionally held.
Counting On a Bonus
The reason for this is simple, of course -- new seasons of Counting On typically begin filming in late October.
By getting married on November 3, John David and Abbie will ensure that cameras will capture enough of the planning process to fill up multiple episodes, or at least a 2-hour special.
A source has revealed some important details about the wedding to Pickles and Hairspray -- and it seems Duggar fans may be in for something they've never seen before.
A Strict Guest List
“The invite says they are going to be very strict about who enters the church. Only RSVP people allowed due to seating limitations,” the Facebook page reports.
“The reception is going to be quite different from what we’ve seen in the past," the insider adds cryptically.
Changing It Up
Sadly, it might be quite some time before we find out exactly how John David and Abbie are changing things up.
The Jim Bob Factor
Of course, Duggar patriarch Jim Bob typically prefers that his offspring stick to the script, but insiders say he's making an exception this time around.
The Age Issue
It seems that Jim Bob is do pleased that John David is finally getting hitched at 28 that he's decided to let certain things slide.
Child at Heart
Of course, as John David and Abbie's wedding registry reveals, these two are still young at heart. Something tells us they'll be much more fun than the typical Duggar couple.
