If you’ve been watching the current season of Teen Mom 2, then you know that Jenelle Evans is having a rough go of it.
We’re not talking about Jenelle’s 911 call, or the many indications that her marriage is crumbling.
No, we’re referring to the fact that producers can’t capture most of Jenelle’s marital troubles due to the fact that her husband, David Eason, has been fired from the show.
As a result, the most dramatic cast member on TM2 has the least screen time and the most boring storylines.
But it looks like Jenelle has figured out a way to get back in the game.

Jenelle With Briana
Jenelle Evans and Briana DeJesus have been close ever since Bri joined the cast of Teen Mom 2 in 2017.
Limited Options
Of course, no one else on the cast wants anything to do with Jenelle, and Bri’s not exactly a favorite among her colleagues either, so it’s kind of “last resort” type of situation.
Trouble on the Land
Jenelle has been having a difficult time lately for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the fact that her husband is forbidden to appear on camera.
David Drama
As you may recall, David Eason was fired from Teen Mom 2 after he launched a homophobic tirade on social media last year.
Making It Work
As a result, Jenelle is forced to share her screen time with her mother, Barbara Eason.
Poor Compromise
We suppose it’s better than Jenelle voicing her complaints to her kids or simply sitting in silence by herself, but the arrangement has satisfied no one.
Jenelle’s Hell
Jenelle has complained about her boring storylines and griped that the show’s current season is damaging her relationship with her mother.
Last-Ditch Effort
Recently, she’s done everything she can to get David re-hired, including staging a fake breakup.
Anyone’s Guess
As far as we can tell, the thinking was that producers would be so desperate to capture the Jenelle and David drama that they would lift the ban on filming Eason.
No Go
Obviously, the trick didn’t work, and so now, Jenelle has turned to Briana as her filming partner.
Enter Bri
And so it was that Jenelle took a trip to Orlando last week to shoot scenes with Briana.
The Very Realest
Evans posted a selfie of herself with Bri over the weekend. She captioned the pic, “Caught up on some things tonight … Realest I know…. #JustSaying
Bad Timing
Unfortunately, the trip did not go according to plan, and it seems Jenelle and Briana did not get to spend as much time together as they had hoped.
Jenelle Allergy
Briana posted extensively about a stomach virus that left her and several of her family members bed-ridden over the weekend.
The Big
“Okay not only did Stella catch the stomach bug but so did nova and I last night how is that even possible ughhhh,†Briana tweeted one day prior to Jenelle’s visit.
Poolside
Fortunately, Jenelle brought her “best friend” Katrina along for the trip, and the two of them spent some time hanging out poolside.
New “Friends”
Are producers so desperate for someone to film with Evans that they created multiple fake friendships?
Getting Away
It’s tough to say, but at least Jenelle’s trip to Florida wasn’t a total bust.
Weekender
She got to enjoy the Orlando sunshine for a couple days, and let’s not forget …
The Great Escape
She got to get away from David Eason and her increasingly dilapidated home! Totally worth it!
