It’s been over six months since Jenelle Evans’ husband, David Eason, was fired from Teen Mom 2 amidst an alarming controversy.
Eason hurled homophobic slurs at fans who dared to question his repugnant actions, and thankfully, his bigotry did not go over well.
Thousands called for Eason to be fired, including several of his co-stars.
MTV is generally very hesitant to mess with the Teen Mom formula, but even they recognized that David needed to go.
Now, Jenelle is speaking out about her husband’s hateful comments, and as expected, she’s only making the situation worse.
Hateful Dave
All reality stars have to deal with occasional criticism from fans, and sometimes they push back against it. Dave took things a step further …
The Night of the Gun
It all started when David posted this photo of Jenelle firing a gun on his Instagram page.
Horrendous Timing
The image was posted the same day as the tragic school shooting in Parkland, Florida, and many encouraged Dave to delete it out of respect for the victims and their families.
The Worst
We won’t reprint David’s words here, but believe us when we say it was as bad as you can imagine.
Angry Dave

We already knew that David had a violent temper, but we were previously unaware of the depths of his bigotry. Fortunately, MTV wasted no time in cutting Eason loose.
Speaking Out
Now, Jenelle is speaking out on the David controversy, and as expected, she’s making the horrendous situation even worse.
Come Again?
Jenelle was uncharacteristically honest when discussing the matter on this week’s Teen Mom 2 reunion show. We’d say that’s to her credit, but it’s hard to give props to someone for proudly professing they married a bigot.
Somehow, She Keeps Getting Worse
“He still feels the way he feels,” Evans told Dr. Drew Pinsky. “He thinks he shouldnâÂÂt have said it the way he did. But he still stands by his views.”
Sorry, Not Sorry
“He deleted [his tweets] right afterwards, he said he was sorry, and he still hasnâÂÂt been on Twitter,â she continued.
Did This Make Sense In Her Head?
So to recap, David stands by everything he said, but he’s also sorry and feels that MTV owes it to him to give him his job back.
The Explanation
But don’t worry, Jenelle says it’s not David’s fault that he’s about as tolerant as a Klansmen when it comes to people who aren’t exactly like him.
It’s His Parents’ Fault!
“ItâÂÂs been the way he was raised,â Evans explained to Pinsky, as though he would be like, “Well, say no more! MTV, give this man his job back!”
It Keeps Getting Worse…
It was at that point that Drew quite correctly pointed out to Jenelle that lots of people are raised with bigoted beliefs and choose to purge themselves of those views as adults.
It’s Something He Might Want to Consider
Pinsky seemed to be hinting that since David is 30 years old and a father himself, he might want to join the 21st century and stop hating people he’s never met for no reason.
Missing the Point
“His kids didnâÂÂt hear him say that!â Jenelle blurted. âÂÂHe typed it.â This interview would’ve been amusing if it weren’t so very sad.
Oh, Well In That Case
âÂÂHe doesnâÂÂt run around the house saying, âÂÂI hate gay people!âÂÂâ Jenelle added, seemingly oblivious to the fact that kids tend to pick up on their parents’ beliefs.
Is This Really Happening?!
Did she forget that she JUST blamed David’s bigotry on his parents?! Literally seconds later she’s acting like it’s absurd that his views might rub off on his kids.
She’s Lost It

“He just says he doesnâÂÂt want his kids to grow up and be that way!â Jenelle added. Then she hit us with the most bonkers analogy of all time …
What Is She On?

âÂÂItâÂÂs just like when you donâÂÂt want your kid to grow up and be, like, a doctor,â Evans said. âÂÂâÂÂI donâÂÂt want you to be doctor, I want you to be in the military.â Some dads are just like that.â Yes, it’s Jenelle’s opinion that straight people are the Army and gay people are … doctors? We really have no idea …
A New Low
Asked how Eason would feel if one of his kids grew up to be gay, Evans replied, âÂÂHe said that, you know, heâÂÂll still love them, still adore them but he just wouldnâÂÂt support, wouldnâÂÂt agree with their lifestyle.” For the record, David has compared gay people to “flea covered dogs” and derided them as “abominations.” Eat sh-t, David.
