The Grammy Awards will be held on January 28, 2018 in New York City.
Based on the nominations, we can look forward to a big night for Kendrick Lamar and Jay-Z, among other major artists.
But which singers and songs did NOT get nominated? Which were the most glaring snubs and surprises?
Good question! Let's analyze, scrutinize and complain down below...
Sheeran an Also-Ran?
Ed Sheeran's album, ÷ (Divide), was one of the biggest albums of the year. Heck his "Shape of You," was one of the streamed song of all time on Spotify. Still, the 26-year-old crooner only received two GRAMMY nominations and neither were in the top categories.
Look What the Grammys Made Taylor Swift Feel Like
Sheeran's good friend woke up unhappy as well. Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do" song was the only single off her new album that was eligible for a nomination... and it received none.
First, Selena Left Him for Justin...
... then, The Weeknd only got nominated for Urban Contemporary Album for his popular album Starboy.
No Love for Lovato
We loved Demi Lovato's "Tell Me You Love Me" album. But the Grammy voters did not. Zero nominations!
Or for Harry!
They may find him handsome, but voters didn't show any love for Harry Styles' solo album, either.
The Hunt for... Hunt
Sam Hunt's "Body Like a Back Road" set a record for most weeks atop the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. But it coudn't earn a nod outside of a country category.
