Despite a few memorable moments, the Game of Thrones Season 6 premiere sometimes felt like an hourlong recap of everything that happened at the end of Season 5.
Sure, we found out the truth about Melisandre, but that shocking conclusion aside, the episode seemed primarily designed to bring us up to speed and prepare us for what’s to come.
So with the appetizer out of the way, it’s time for the main course, and based on the trailer, we’re expecting the episode entitled “Home” to deliver in a big way.
We’ll give you three clues about what’s got us most excited: Hodor, Hodor, and Hodor.
Get it? Because he only says his name! Sigh.
Anyway, check out some official stills from Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 2 in the gallery below:
Bran Stark: All Grown Up

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Bran. Looks like he’s might be too big for to be getting piggybacks from Hodor these days.
Missandei and Varys

We’ve been enjoying the “Varys and Tyrion chillax in Meereen” storyline. The Khaleesi’s entourage needed some wacky neighbors to deliver the comic relief.
Alliser Thorne: Douche Commander of the Night’s Watch

It’s not enough for Alliser Thorne to die. We want to see him spend a few months with Ramsay Bolton at the Dreadfort first.
Dolorous Edd at Castle Black

Dolorous Edd is pissed. You would be too if you had an adjective for a first name.
The Return of Meera

Ellie Kendrick is back as Meera. Are we alone in hoping that between Bran and Arya’s storylines, this season doesn’t get too deep in the weeds with regard to the pseudo-spiritual supernatural stuff?
Balon and Yara Greyjoys

Oh, good the dour Greyjoys are back. That family only lives up to the first half of its name.
Bran and The Three-Eyed Raven

Bran and his new spiritual mentor. We’re guessing young Isaac Hempstead Wright picked up some pointers from fellow three-named actor Max Von Sydow in real life.
Leaf: Bran Stark is the Man!

We don’t know much about Leaf at this point. However, she has confirmed our theory that Bran will play a role in the finale of the great game.
The Three-Eyed Raven

Quoth the Raven: “Let’s have some trippy flashbacks, man!”
Ramsay Bolton is Awful

Yes, that’s Ramsay welcoming his new brother. No, this isn’t going anywhere good.
Cersei and Tommen

Yeah, theirs isn’t the healthiest dynamic. Still more normal than her relationship with her brother.
