On The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6 Episode 14, the season finale, Joe and Teresa Giudice learned their fates.
Joe was sentenced to 41 months in prison while Teresa was given 15 months. Neither is eligible for parole, but both may be released early for good behavior. Their sentences will not run concurrently, and Teresa’s will begin in January, just after the holidays.
They’re also short a few friends in New Jersey right now, like tax fraud is contagious.
The twins decided the end-of-season party would be the perfect time to address the rumors that their mother slept with Rino, because nothing says family forever like airing your dirty laundry in front of god and everybody, right?
Right. That’s at least how you keep yourself relevant enough to stay employed in the reality TV industry.
Two-seasons-ago Teresa would’ve flipped a table on them and made some (more) amazing gifs. Present-day Teresa has way too much going on to worry about their opinion and engage in their drama.
She’s going to prison. So is her husband. Her formerly favorite friends are turning on her with lightening speed.
There’s no way for her to predict what this is going to do to her children, (which, hey, maybe think about that BEFORE YOU BREAK THE LAW!).
Joe and Melissa Gorga have promised to be there for the kids, but still, they’re definitely old enough to know what’s going on and their classmates are as well. The next few years will be doubly hard on them.
Puberty plus parents in the Federal pen? Did I just title their memoirs?
What’s most vomitous of all is everyone’s faux-concern for Teresa and Joe. None of them truly care, but they’ll sure pretend they do for ratings.
