You got to remember that Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews, and while we like them, they???re hideously insecure. Keith Olbermann???s got an audience of a couple hundred thousand people or even let???s say it???s a million, let???s be idiotically generous. I mean there???s no impact. I mean they get mentioned in the Huffington Post and Tom Shales gives them a shout once and awhile, and that???s it. They have no impact. I mean Keith had a book you couldn???t get arrested with it. I would have happy to help him and he never asked me. We could have made his book a best seller, but he couldn???t. He couldn???t and he can???t???so they???re, you know.

I think that Don Imus made a mistake. Everyone in life makes mistakes no one is perfect. He does a lot of good for a lot of people. When people make mistakes you have to look at them and see what they have accomplished see whaat they do in every day life . He is a man that does more ggod than most people or politicians. I don’t really think he should have been suspended he apologized move on if he did this all the time or if he has been repremended for it this year than he redid it than yes but he hasn’t. To me he is a stand up person that made a terrible mistake but should not be condemned for it. I wish there were more people like Don Imus.

Claire Austin says:
As an African American woman I have been deeply thinking about the words that were used to insult the Rutgers basketball team. In my opinion the words are racist and sexist, however I am not sure if I consider Mr. Imus a racist. The words are insulting to all “WOMEN” and I think every person with morals should be upset.
Mr. Imus I think you can turn this negative in to a positive. I believe everything happens for a reason. This is your chance to come out of this like a shining star. You are probably embassassed and fear that you will be remembered as a racist. You can make to choice to use this situation along with your family, friends, and others from various cultures and have a open forum on racism. The power is in your hands.
CBS and NBC fired you because of their sponsors and not because they felt as though that was the right thing to do. It was not because of Mr. Jackson and Mr. Sharpton. It was about the finance. When corporate america started to pull Ads that is when CBS and NBC decided to react.
I am sure you can find several intelligent African American and others to help with discussing racism publicly. Most people are afraid of that topic and given your situation I think that you can start the dialogue.
I think Rosie, Rappers and others should be held accountable for their insults. Mr. Imus I think you can pull this country together across racial lines. DO NOT GIVE UP! Take this as a new beginning . Start the dialogue where others are afraid to discuss.
I never thought that I would ever agree with Tom Delay.
