But, as rumors swirl over who will replace Meredith Vieira on The View, actress Patricia Heaton was thrown out as an option.
Everybody Loves Raymond alum Patricia Heaton could replace Meredith Vieira on The View. As reported last month by Star, Heaton was in negotiations to develop a View copycat. Now she may join the original, according to the New York Post.
Sort of an off-beat pick, especially because Heaton’s experience is with comedic situation television, and not news, talk shows, or pop culture.
But, if James Frey can write a memoir, and Jared Paul Stern can edit a magazine, and Jon Friedman can be allowed to write a column, well, we guess anything is possible.
