Is Jax Teller losing his hold as the leader of SAMCRO? If Sons of Anarchy Season 7 Episode 8 is any indication, yes.
As he sat on the roof contemplating the bloodshed of the past several years, Jax looked lost. It wasn’t until Chibs reminded him that his group needed a leader that he was able to snap out of it.
Then he did. And then more blood was spilled.
Chibs believes that the Sons of Anarchy have to avenge Tara’s death. Because the brutality was inflicted upon Jax’ family, he believes that too.
But he doesn’t know that her murder came from within his own family. Yet.
While Jax is capable of loving fiercely, he’s also capable of terrible savagery. Not unlike Rick Grimes, but I digress…
Killing Jury might have been an act of self-defense, but it might also have been Jax being a vigilante, which the Sons of Anarchy will not soon forget. This might actually be his undoing.
Juice might provide critical in helping Jax solve the riddle of Tara’s death. While Juice is getting closer to Lin in prison, Juice continues to investigate Tara’s death, and that investigation is bringing him closer and closer to Gemma.
Or will Abel be the one to spill her secret?
He’s a troubled young man, and this week he was sent home for hitting a classmate in the head with a lunchbox. Right now, he’s being seen as a little boy acting out after the death of his mother, but knowing his family, savagery runs deep. And he knows his grandmother killed his mother and is hanging on to that secret.
That’s too much for a kid to handle.
If Jax knows what’s good for his boys, he’ll listen to Nero and send Thomas and Abel to live on the farm with Wendy before it’s too late.
