Jack Porter has one less job after Revenge Season 4 Episode 3. The Stowaway is gone and he’s not planning on rebuilding.

He wants time to spend with “the people he cares about.” I.E. Emily Thorne aka Amanda Clarke.

It’s a great thing they had that moment because Emily was almost a goner, and at the hands of her own father, no less.

Victoria’s plan to turn David Clarke against Emily/Amanda nearly worked. After introducing him to Charlotte and using Charlotte as a pawn by telling David that Charlotte was the one set on exonerating him (when we all know that was Emily’s entire goal), David was primed to do anything to save his daughter.

Including commit murder. Again.

While Victoria was away, trying to get money to “rebuild” her family, David snuck out of their cabin and into Emily Thorne’s house. While she was sleeping, he stood over her with a knife, ready to stab her to death.

Something stopped him, though. The look on her face as she slept, perhaps? It seemed as if he recognized her and his moment of confusion gave Nolan enough time to get to Emily’s bedroom with a gun, which he fired into a lamp.

David, who can apparently fly, jumped over the balcony railing and escaped into the darkness.

Seeing him in the black hoodie and pants wasn’t unlike seeing Emily dressed in similar garb. If we learn that David was trained by Takeda before Aiden killed the mysterious warrior, I won’t be surprised.

Daniel wants to get back into the working world. His money is gone, but so is his credibility. No one wants to work with a Grayson. Margaux offers to use her clout to get him a meeting, but he refuses to allow it, telling her he wants to keep one thing in his life unspoiled.

Good call, Daniel. Good call.

Until he totally fell for the hot damsel at the bar in distress shtick Louise (Victoria’s psych ward roommate) threw out. That’ll end up biting him in the ass. Guaranteed.
