Man of Steel has found its man in charge.

Laurence Fishburne, who exited CSI this summer after a relatively disappointing couple of seasons, has signed on to portray Daily Planet editor-in-chief Perry White in the upcoming reboot of the Superman franchise.

Montana Fishburne, a.k.a. Chippy D, recently said that her father Laurence wanted nothing to do with her after she decided to enter the world of porn.

That said, the CSI star continues to fund her legal defense. You know, for that whole assault with a deadly weapon thing ... girl is kind of a bad ass.

Montana Fishburne's famous dad isn't pleased with her career choice.

Contradicting previous statements she's made about making her adult film debut to launch her career a la Kim Kardashian, Laurence Fishburne's daughter Montana now says she became a porn star at age 19 ... just because.

As we reported Monday, Montana Fishburne, 19, announced her foray into the adult entertainment business. Her father, Laurence Fishburne is not happy.

Montana, a.k.a. Chippy D, tells TMZ that the CSI star is "very hurt" over her new career path, though she is confident they can bury the hatchet soon.
