Shaun White and his coach Bud Keene were discussing strategy prior to the athlete’s final run in the Men’s Olympic Halfpipe last night when the pair got into an animated cuss-word laced conversation that was broadcast live by NBC.
After the first F-Bomb and S-Bomb went out across the airwaves, the official network of the Vancouver Olympic Games offered up an apology and explained the verbal exchange as a case of “high emotions coursing” through the coach and athlete.
Shaun White and Keene knew the gold medal was a done deal. Shaun asked Keene if he should “drop a double mick.” The coach offered up, “You f**king send that thing. And make sure you stomp the s**t out of it. Way to f**king go man.”
NBC reportedly cleaned up the video feed before it was broadcast on the West Coast. Check out the video exchange here.
Competing on Thursday night in the Women’s Halfpipe for Team USA are FHM bikini model Gretchen Bleiler and SI Swimsuit model Hannah Teter.
