In their first ever meeting, Sarah Palin was interviewed by Oprah Winfrey this week. The piece is set to air Monday, November 16, 2009 on CBS. Oprah took some flack for not inviting Palin to appear on her show when she first arrived on the national scene in 2008.
The talk show host openly supported Barack Obama and decided, after endorsing him, that she would not let her show be used as a platform for any of the candidates. Obama actually appeared twice on her show but the appearances were prior to his declaration as a candidate.
The former Alaska governor spoke to Oprah on a variety of subjects, including her new book Going Rogue, her failed vice-presidential run with John McCain, her aspirations for the future, the infamous Katie Couric interview and her relationship with Levi Johnston.
