Former MLB right-fielder Reggie Jackson, known fondly as Mr. October for his clutch hitting during the playoffs, will co-host a six-week radio call-in show with Bill Pidto during the baseball playoffs. The two-hour satellite radio show October Nights begins on Tuesday October 6, 2009.
Jackson helped win three consecutive World Series titles while playing for the Oakland A’s in the early 70’s and also helped win two more when he was with the New York Yankees.
Mr. October was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1993 on the first ballot with 93% of the votes.
