Rapper Too Short aka Todd Anthony Shaw was busted in L.A. a few hours ago and charged with DUI and felony narcotics possession.
The West Coast hip hop artist was pulled over for a unspecified traffic violation when the officer on the scene suspected he was under the influence.
Shaw bolted as the LAPD cop attempted to administer a breathalyzer test. After tripping in the street, the musician was put into the back of a police cruiser for transport to the station for booking.
Still hellbent on his own agenda, the rapper tried to get rid of his narcotics in the back seat of the cop car but the officer was on to him.
TMZ is reporting that Too Short blew a .09, which is just over the .08 legal limit. He was booked for DUI and felony drug possession.
Too Short gained fame for ‘The Ghetto’ and ‘Blow the Whistle.’
