Paris Hilton and sister Nicky Hilton attended the Pop Factory opening party in L.A. for Todd Goldman‘s ‘Stupid Art Show’ on Thursday.
The sisters seemed more interested in their phone conversations than in any art. Considering it was the most talked about art studio opening in recent memory, I’m sure the Hiltons were there to be seen.
Goldman, of David and Goliath clothing line, has come under fire for what some people consider plagiarism.
Goldman was accused of ripping off web cartoonist Dave “Shmorky” Kelly for his “Dear God Make Everyone Die” piece and issued a public apology saying, “I made a judgment error and did not research the background of this particular submission. My intention was not to copy Mr. Kelly.”
Jack Solomon, the art dealer who helped launch his career, even went so far as to say, “The guy knocked it off, but he didn’t do it on purpose.”
Since then, Goldman’s work has been scrutinized and many similarities to other sources have been uncovered.
