Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie were married in an intimate ceremony in Santa Barbara on Saturday, August 14.
The couple exchanged wedding vows in a breathtaking sunset ceremony that was attended by 100 guests. The bride, who wore Vera Wang, walked down the aisle with her mother Susan Duffy.
The actress, 22, and the 29-year-old Edmonton Oilers player met in 2007 and got engaged in February 2009 during a Hawaiian getaway.
In a recent interview, Duff said: “I’ve never met anyone who can say a bad word about him. He’s generous, caring and sunny. We just laugh our heads off.”
Another Canadian NHL player wed earlier this summer — Mike Fisher married Carrie Underwood.
