Today Show host Meredith Vieira arrived at LAX yesterday and was greeted by photographers who asked her if she was familiar with the National Enquirer reports alleging extra-marital affairs by her co-host Matt Lauer. She immediately adopted a ‘deer in the headlights look’ and feigned ignorance.
When asked if there was any truth to the rumors that Lauer and his wife Annette Roque were having marital problems, she said: “As far as I know, Matt is very happy.”
When asked to comment on rumors that she was one of the ‘other women’ alleged to have been involved with Lauer, she laughed and then replied emphatically, “NO! My life is way too boring.”
