Marie Osmond is teaming up with her surviving children to pen a book that she hopes will help them all to cope with the tragic loss of their loved one.

The Las Vegas entertainer was devastated when her 18-year-old son Michael Bryan committed suicide in February 2010 by jumping to his death from the balcony of his L.A. apartment.

Osmond plans to share details of how the Mormon family coped with the tragedy and hopes that her book will help her to heal herself and others going through similar tragedies.

She admits, “It’s still hard. Time goes by quickly, but it still feels the same as the day it happened. God just gives you little respites in between. And maybe that’s where I come from with this book… I don’t think it’s bad to talk about things it there’s a reason and a purpose in it.”

Marie has launched a new talk show ‘Marie’ on the Hallmark Channel. The host shoots two episodes daily in L.A. before jumping on a plane back to Las Vegas where she still performs with brother Donny Osmond at the Flamingo Hotel before boarding a return flight to L.A. at midnight. Catch her on Hallmark each day at Noon ET.
