If you work for a celebrity, your chances of getting dragged into court are pretty good if you break your contract. That is exactly what Lisa Marie Presley has in store for her former nanny Christine White.
After Christine was dismissed from her baby tending duties, she promptly filed a lawsuit alleging that she was forced to work 7-days a week without being paid overtime and didn’t get the 10-minute rest breaks that she was entitled to while caring for Presley’s twin babies who were born in October 2008.
Lisa Marie has filed a counter suit alleging that White posted photos of the twins on her personal Facebook page. Presley claims that a total of 164 photos were taken of the babies. In addition, the nanny reportedly shot video of the children and that footage contained views of Presley’s private residence.
We would advise Ms. White that these nanny-gate cases tend to be won by the celebrities. We’re just saying….
