Katie Stevens is a little girl with a huge voice. It’s hard to believe she is only 17-years-old. Katie has a big personality and knows how to take control of an interview. She finished in 8th place and was eliminated on April 14, 2010.
It isn’t surprising that all season long, the judges told her she needed to be younger. Wise far beyond her years, I felt like I was talking to someone twice her age during the interview.
Katie is super excited for the upcoming tour. Rehearsals begin next week and she can’t wait — especially for the two Connecticut venues that will be in close proximity to her home in Middlebury.
Stevens made it clear that she could not talk about the AI Finale, or who she thought would be the winner. She did assure me that we would not be disappointed.
