Johanna Botta was born in Lima, Peru and moved to the U.S. when she was eleven. She was living in Southern California when she was cast on the MTV reality show The Real World: Austin in 2005.
Botta and six other strangers lived together for several months in a warehouse in Austin, Texas. A total of 44 cameras were mounted on the walls for filming. Botta’s show bio provides some clues to what makes her tick. She has figured out that the combination of her looks and intellect can get her just about anything she wants. She is highly motivated and occasionally opinionated and argumentative.
