It goes without saying that most celebrities don’t have vermin invading their homes, but that apparently isn’t the case for Sliding Doors star Gwyneth Paltrow. Getting ready to shoot her latest film Iron Man 2, Paltrow rented a home in L.A., located just a few blocks from her mother, actress Blythe Danner. Word on the street is that the residence is overrun with RATS!
Rarely seen with her musician husband Chris Martin and often lambasted by the press for their unhappy union, a friend of the couple said that this temporary home was going to be their uniting place.
“Gwyneth wanted everything to be perfect. She was so excited about moving to L.A. with the family and also excited to be closer to her actress mom. It will be the first time in ages that she, Chris and the children will be living together as a family. But her stomach turned at the thought of rats running around. She didn’t want her homecoming ruined by those horrible creatures. Being an animal lover, Gwyneth didn’t want the vermin harmed, just removed.”
The unwelcome intruders have apparently vacated the premises and the family will stay at the home in L.A. Other celebs might not have been as willing to share their digs with the threat of scurrying creatures. We think under the circumstances, we might have looked elsewhere. You?
