The fallout has begun for American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert, who debuted his new single, the title track from For Your Entertainment, on Sunday night at a live broadcast from the American Music Awards.

We are told that ABC has received thousands of calls from viewers who were not amused or entertained by the controversial, sexually-laced performance. The View talked about it during hot topics on Monday and censored parts of the graphic video, indicating it was deemed not appropriate for daytime television.

The latest backlash comes from ABC morning show Good Morning America. Lambert was slated to appear on GMA Wednesday, November 25, but they have since decided to NIX the performance. A spokesman said, “Given his controversial American Music Awards performance, we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning.”
