This one is hard to believe! The “King of Rock ‘n’ Roll” Elvis Presley passed away in 1977 at the young age of 42, and as you can well imagine, fans are still trying to get their hands on a piece of the legend?

At a Chicago auction house someone purchased what was believed to be a chunk of Elvis’ hair that was cut when he joined the Army in 1958.

The buyer paid a whopping $15,000 and an additional $3,300 in fees going to the Chicago auction house. There will absolutely never be proof that the hair belonged to Elvis…my hair is the same color!

If you weren’t interested in the black clump of hair, you could also pick up a Pez dispenser or an Elvis doll. There were even Christmas cards that he sent out.

The items were owned by Gary Pepper who passed away in 1980. Pepper ran a Elvis fan club and was said to be a personal friend of the King.

Check out the pile of hair in a photo below.
