Watch out ladies…he’s on the loose. Chris Brown was released from an L.A. jail early Monday morning, June 2 after being in custody since mid-March.
Brown’s original arrest stemmed from a probation violation for being kicked out of rehab. His sentence was extended after he was found guilty of violating probation by getting to an altercation outside a D.C. hotel earlier in the year.
On May 9, Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin sentenced Brown to a year in county jail, but gave him credit for nearly 8 months of time served — which was tallied from time incarcerated, time in rehab, and time for good behavior.
Brown was on probation for attacking then girlfriend Rihanna hours before the 2009 Grammy awards.
Brandlin said that upon his release, Brown will still be responsible for completing the remaining 800 hours of community labor. He also said that he took into account that Brown was young and had a previously undiagnosed mental illness when he attacked Rihanna in 2009.
Um….is he for real? Age is no excuse for beating up a woman. And I think Brown’s track record speaks for itself — he’s a mean person with an uncontrollable temper and massive ego. It’s only a matter of time before he’s behind bars again…the only question is, who will he hurt next?
