Britney Spears graces the cover of Glamour magazine’s January 2009 issue. The photos are great, showing a much healthier side of the pop star. Today marks her 27th birthday and the release of her new album Circus.
We suspect that there is a good deal of airbrushing in the pics but she wouldn’t be the first or the last to be tweaked for a photo shoot so we’re not going to stoop to faulting her for that. We are, however, just a little perplexed by a quote that we lifted from the Glamour article that accompanies her photos.
Just when we thought Spears and K-Fed were mending fences and getting along for the sake of Sean Preston and Jayden James, she threw out a rather odd quote regarding her dream for the future. She offered:
“In five years, I’d like to be married and have a father figure for my kids. Someone who is a provider and can be really stable. It’s hard doing it on my own.”
