Ali Fedotowsky didn’t need to wait for the scheduled final rose ceremony to decide that Roberto Martinez was the guy for her.
Ali sent Chris packing a day early, explaining that she didn’t want him to have to go through the motions of the final rose ceremony. “I’m in love with somebody else,” she said. “I have to let you go here and not wait till tomorrow.”
Chris handled his early departure with class, telling Ali, “Go find out if he loves you, alright? You’re easy to love.”
“As much as this situation hurts, I want to see her happy,” Chris confessed.
During the dramatic finale, Ali accepted Roberto’s marriage proposal in Bora Bora.
“I want to grow old with you. I want to share my life my life with you. Share my life with me?” Roberto said as he got down on one knee, pulled out an engagement ring and asked, “Ali Fedotowsky, will you marry me?”
“Oh my gosh! Yes! Yes!” Ali said. After they shared a long kiss, Ali picked up the final rose, looked into Roberto’s eyes and asked, “Aceptarías esta rosa?”
“Sí!” Roberto said, accepting the rose, before whisking her away in his arms.
As of the “After The Final Rose” special, Ali, 25, and Roberto, 26, are still together, and plan a spring wedding.
