Anne Pressly, morning anchor for KATV-TV in Little Rock, Arkansas, was found in her bed on Monday morning, brutally beaten from an attack.
Pressly was found by her mother around 4:30 a.m., bleeding from life-threatening injuries to her upper body, including stab wounds.
Police believe the 26-year-old may have been attacked during a robbery, since her purse is missing.
Pressly was last seen in “good condition” around 10:30 p.m. Her mother, who normally gives Pressly a wake-up call, went to the home when her daughter didn’t answer.
Pressly is a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, and played a small role in Oliver Stone’s new movie “W.” She also played a sorority girl on the soap opera “As the World Turns.”
Pressly was taken to St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center and there is currently no information on her condition.
There are no suspects in the case, however, police are questioning neighbors, friends and co-workers.
