Amanda Bynes was moved from a psychiatric facility in Ventura County to UCLA Medical Center on Thursday.

Her mother and temporary conservator Lynn Bynes has been trying for some time now to get the actress moved to a more private facility but a bed wasn’t available until yesterday.

UCLA Medical Center is touted as one of the best psychiatric facilities in the United States and Bynes will receive continued treatment for schizophrenia.

The 27-year-old was photographed yesterday wearing long hospital pajama pants and white socks on her feet as she got into an SUV. Her body was shrouded by a white blanket that was draped around her shoulders and she was sporting a bright blue wig – photo here.

Lynn will be back in court on Sept 30, for another hearing to extend the conservatorship arrangement and pave the way for additional mandatory treatment.

On Aug. 9, a judge granted an additional 30 day psychiatric hold after doctors certified that the patient was “gravely disabled as a result of a mental illness.”

She gained fame as a child star on Nickelodeon’s ‘All That’ and ‘The Amanda Show.’ She went on to appear in several films, including the 2010 flick ‘Easy A.’
